EU goes School – Lehrkräfte als EU-Botschafter:innen

The project “EU goes School – Teachers as EU-Ambassadors (EGS-LAB)“ aims to encourage student teachers and in-service teachers to reflect on their own attitudes towards Europe, support them in building up conceptual knowledge about the European Union and its functioning, and to enable them to develop and enhance teaching skills in order to create learning opportunities for pupils to learn about, for and through Europe.

Events

Excursion to Brussels

As part of the project, trainee teachers and teacher training students from LMU Munich will visit Europe’s capital, Brussels. There they will learn about various European institutions and extracurricular learning locations.

Project Handbook

The handbook provides an insight into the structure and current developments of the EU and contains teaching examples that offer practical instructions for implementing these topics in the classroom.
